SLOW FUTURES 

This collection was influenced by WGSN's Spring/ Summer 2018 sub-trend Slow Futures; capturing the importance of slowing down, benefitting one's health and wellbeing whilst capturing the rawness of nature through an earthy palette.

Utilising the Slow Futures trend, the Silent Shape collection took form through printmaking processes, captured and scanned into digital software to produced repeats alongside screen printed textiles to experiment with composition and form. Imagery and texture was influenced by Barbara Hepworth's sculptures at Yorkshire Sculpture Park whilst silent shapes were discovered within shadows, negative space and structure.
